Over 25,000 taxpayers in Azerbaijan apply e-tax declarations

The due statement was made by the Minister of Taxes Fazil Mamedov during a press conference. He said he relies on the data of the monitoring of international auditors, financial institutions and researches of the Ministry of Taxes.

He said the main advantage of the e-declarations is that the tax payer can deal with them not only at workdays, but also at weekends as the servers of the Ministry of Taxes are available 24 hours a day all days of the week.

"Our observations show that this factor is especially attractive for taxpayers and we consider that we have mostly attained our goal, set while introducing this system", Mamedoc said.

He noted that over 25,000 taxpayers  on the whole, and 95% of VAT payers apply e-tax declarations.

It should be reminded that the e-tax declarations were first applied in August of 2007.
