Mortgage Fund applies to Finance Ministry for extra funds

Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) has used the 2006 budget-allocated AZN 26.5 million plus AZN 0.5 million earnings to finance mortgage loans.

The AMF Executive Director Faig Mammadov said the Fund has not received AZN 20 million earmarked from the 2007 budget and suspended mortgage lending process at present.

He noted that they have applied to the Finance Ministry for additional funds. APA-Economics
