The negotiations with Oleg Bogomolov, Governor of Russian oblast Kurgan, can be estimated successful, Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev told the journalists.

"We will be informed about technical terms and prices of the products produced in Kurgan," the minister underlined.

Babayev noted that the expansion of economic relations with Kurgan, one the most developed regions of Russia, will influence the increase of trade turnover between the countries.

"Due to statistics, trade turnover between Kurgan and Azerbaijan is approximately $4m. We are interested in increase of this indicator. We do not import gas from Russia this year, and that is why the trade turnover between Russia and our country is falling," the minister noted.

Azerbaijani minister also noted that Azerbaijani businessmen can build their business in Kurgan. "Kurgan is represented with 60-member delegation. The delegation is composed of representatives of state institutions, business sector and Azerbaijani Diaspora in Kurgan. They will have broad presentation on Friday," Mr. Babayev underscored.
