27 March 2007 [13:43] - TODAY.AZ
The International Center for Settlement of Investment disputes (ICSID) postponed the legal procedure fixed for March 28 on case of the Azerbaijani government on the charges raised by Barmek - Azerbaijan Electricity Distribution LLC for uncertain time, Barmek president Huseyn Arabul exclusively told.

He said that the date of the legal procedure is to be fixed for one of these days, APA reports.

"The process of the ICSID will be different from that in Azerbaijan in its character and will make a decision on Azerbaijani court's accusations against Barmek company."

Huseyn Arabul said that his company demands the Azerbaijani government compensation for the breach of a management contract and already presented all required files.

The management contract between the Azerbaijani government and Barmek LLC was denounced on July 2006.

The company began to operate in Azerbaijan on January 1, 2002.
