President Ilham Aliyev issues on measures for improvement of management in traffic complex

According to the order, Transportation Ministry organizing legal forms of "Traffictransportationservice" department LTD has been changed to the Azertrafficservice Opened Joint Stock Company under the Transportation Ministry.

Azertrafficservice of which stakes owned by the state will serve in the road industry of the country, will occupy exploitation, restoration, rebuilt and construction of roads, bridges, tunnels etc, development of relevant infrastructure.

Cabinet is to work out the Regulations of Azertrafficservice and present it to the president, to ensure the control, repair and subordination of roads, avenues and streets in Baku and other district to the Transportation Ministry, subordination of roads and streets in other villages and residential areas to the relevant local executive powers and municipalities, to make the list of properties subordinated to production basis, establishments, as well as, departments, institutions, and organizations, Baku major's Office, and relevant city and local executive bodies in connection with the protection and repair of roads, avenues and streets in Baku as well as other cities and downtowns of the country, to ensure of giving Azeryolservice OJSC, management of the roads, avenues and motor roads, to allocate funds for Transport Ministry from state budget for implementation of control over their situation and reconstruction, to submit to the president proposals on conformation of efficient juridical acts to executive order.

Transport Ministry is to work out state program on road network development in Azerbaijan, to coordinate it with relevant stet bodies, to submit to the president within a month, to make proposals on strengthening of production basis of Azeryolservice and submit to president, and to implement the measures.

According to the information the reconstruction, building, exploitation of roads and road installations of Nakhchivan AR will be implemented by Naxavtoyol State Company, President’s press service told APA.
