National carrier to stop using Tupolev aircrafts

Azerbaijan's national aircarrier AZAL will stop using Russian-made Tupolev aircrafts by 2008.

AZAL's official Meherrem Seferli told APA that Tupolev aircrafts are almost used on domestic routes.

Earlier the International Air Transport Association (IATA) recommended the member states not to use Tupolev aircrafts.
