Azerbaijan bans fowls import from UK and Krasnodar

It is due to the decision of the International Epizootic Bureau which bans import of poultry products from these countries because of bird flu.

Azerbaijan has not imported poultry products from the UK but the products have been imported from Krasnodar.

The State Veterinary Service's spokesman said they have not been appealed regarding the import of fowls and poultry products from other provinces of Russia.

At present Azerbaijan imports poultry products from the US, Turkey, Brazil and Canada, APA reports.
