Star Alliance's insurance premium collection fall 24%

Azerbaijan's Star Alliance Insurance collected insurance premiums of AZN 322,500 during 2006, down 245 from the previous year.

Company's head office told the APA that insurance payments of AZN 244,600 were made during this period, up 45 times from 2005.

Starr Alliance was established under the name of W Insurance Company in 1998 by three individuals, including famous Turkish businessman Ali Efsen (19%). As at early January, company's authorized capital made AZN 1.8mln.
