Bank Standard's total capital rose 31% y-o-y

The assets of Bank Standard grew by AZN 112% (USD 127 118 000), compared with late last year, in October.

As against late September, the assets grew by 8% or AZN 16 386 000 ($18 764 000) to AZN 210 063 000 ($240 540 000). The total assets rose 121% or AZN 115 214 000 ($131 930 000), year-over-year, in October.

The loans lent to customers reached AZN 119 101 000 (USD 136 380 000), growing by AZN 75 254 000 (USD 86 172 000) or 172% year-on-year.

As of October 31, 2006 the volume of funds in customer accounts amounted to AZN 110 845 000 (USD 126 927 000), increasing by AZN 72 906 000(USD 83 484 000) or 192 percent on the same period last year.

The total volume of deposits made by legal entities and individuals reached AZN 80 655 000 (USD 92 356 000) representing an increase of AZN 53 193 000 (USD 60 911 000) or 194 percent year-over-year.

Credit portfolio of the Bank rose 164% or AZN 53 193 000 ($60 911 000) in the period of the past ten months.

The aggregate capital of Bank Standard accounted for AZN 21 705 000 (USD 24 853 000) rising by 31 percent or AZN 5 199 000 (USD 5 953 000), year-over-year, in October.

As of October 31, the Bank's profit before tax was AZN 4 383 000 (USD 5 019 000).

The total profits of past tem months have grown by 86% or AZN 2 022 000 ($2 316 000), compared with the same period last year, the Bank's head office told APA.
