SOCAR President meets with CDAP members

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev has today met with the members of the Caspian Development Advisory Panel (CDAP).

As APA reports, CDAP Member Stuart Eizenstat said that they are working on a report concerning implementation and prospects of global projects in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian. He said they will release the report in January, 2007.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said that great reforms are being carried out in the Company.

He also gave information about improvement of the transparency, transition to International Financial Reporting standards, international audit and other activities in the company.

The Caspian Development Advisory Panel (CDAP) focuses on the social, environmental and economic impact of the BTC pipeline project, as well as BP’s related activities in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
