Microfinance Bank of Azerbaijan intends to open a regional branch in the district of Khachmaz in fall.

According to APA, two new branches will be opened in the capital by this year end.

Currently, the bank has 3 branches in Baku and 4 in regions.

Microfinance Bank of Azerbaijan was established because of an agreement signed in 2002 by IFC (25.5%), Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (25.25%), KFW (24.96%), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (18.25%), LFS Financial Systems GmbH Consulting Company (5.69%).
