AIOC to shut down Chirag Platform for 10 days in October

As APA reports, the repair will take 10 days and during this period the gas drying equipment will be replaced, water injectors will be reinforced, and other repair work will be implemented.

Chirag Platform is designed to drill 24 wells, and 20 wells are already currently in operation -14 production and 6 injection wells.

48.3 mn tonnes of oil were produced since the start-up in November, 1997.

During January-June of 2006, some 3.7 mn tonnes of oil were produced.
