Azerbaijani economy grew by 35.1% during January-July

Gross Domestic Product constituted AZN 8 803.5mn during January-July and this figure represents a 35.1% increase on the same period last year.

Per capita GDP reached $ 1 165.9 and this indicator is a 33.6% or AZN 1 055.6 on the previous period.

As APA reports, during January-July AZN 6 113.3mn or 69.4% of the GDP was earned from industry production and AZN 2 047.5mn or 23.3% was gained from service sector, the added value rose by 49.1% and 10.2% respectively.

During this period the added value of AZN 4 891.9 mn (55.6% of GDP) was in industry, AZN 451.5 mn (5.1%) in agriculture, hunting and foresting, AZN 796.9 mn (8.7%) in construction, AZN 462.4 mn (5.3%) in transportation, AZN 197.3 mn (2.2%) in communications, AZN 543.4 mn (6.2) in wholesale, retail, repair services for cars, household things, AZN 62.7 mn (0.7%) in hotel and restaurant, AZN 781.7 mn (8.9%) in social services.
