Azerbaijan and Latvia agree to remove double taxation from January 1

Agreement on removal of double taxation on income and capital reached by Azerbaijan and Latvia will come into the force next year.

As APA reports, the date of the application of the agreement was disputed between the sides while the agreement was signed in October, 2005.

The sides eventually reached agreement to bring the intergovernmental contract into force on January 1, 2007. Azerbaijan has to date signed similar agreements with 18 countries.
