Cargo transportation rises 11% in Azerbaijani part of TRACECA corridor

Cargo transportation has reached 20.2mn tons in January-June which represents an increase of 11% as against last year’s respective period.

As APA reports, this indicator constitutes 37.3% of all cargo transportation in the country.

Incomes from cargo and passenger carrying equaled AZN 90.5mn representing an increase of 1.7% as against 2005’s January-June.

The incomes have come from railway (62.2%), sea (19.3%) and automobile (18.5%).
