Three normative documents are being developed on licensing hotel activities

The documents are on rules and procedures of licensing, state due and additional conditions of Cabinet of Ministers on granting license.

Culture and Tourism Ministry told that the government is developing these documents according to recent presidential decree on licensing the activities of hotels.

The ministry will start granting license to the hotels after the documents are completely worked out. Hotels will have to apply to the ministry for a license.

Hotels not receiving a license will meet some severe measures. The licenses will be granted for 5-year term but the amount of state due (fee) is not determined yet, APA reports.
