No increase in import taxes for automobiles this year

No increase is expected this year in import taxes for automobiles brought in Azerbaijan. The Chairman of the State Customs Committee (SCC) Aydin Aliyev has stated.

Saying that the number of automobiles brought in country increased by 35-36% last year, Mr. Aliyev did not excepted SCC proposals to be considered by the Government.

Aliyev has also stated that the Committee prepares Action Plan for the protection of rights of companies in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

"Any company can get registration at us. Then we are sure of affiliation of any foreign brand imported in Azerbaijan to this or another company."
