Iran may also join Baku-Ceyhan pipeline in the nearest future

Baku-Ceyhan pipeline may be used in order to export Iranian crude oil to world market in the nearest perspective.

Mahmud Khagani, the Chief Director of Department for Caspian Oil and Gas of Oil Ministry of Iran, has told the media about.

Khagani has told that Iran is engaged with wide ranging exploration in Southern part of Caspian Sea. If Iran is a success with exploration, then it may export a part of oil through Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline.

According to APA, he has also said negotiations may start on the subject, if to think that Iran and Azerbaijan are at high level of relationships.

"But it depends on efficient use of different systems of oil exportation systems. Iran researches different systems of raw export and the decision could be made after this about which way to choose."
