Minister of Economic Development met with BSTDB's mission

As APA was informed from the press-service of the Ministry of Economic Development, the mission includes the Vice-President of the Bank Valentina Siklovan and chief of the policy and strategy office Ginea-Arminio.

The goal of the meeting was to learn the priority lines in preparation of the country strategy on Azerbaijan for 2007-2010. Those directions are expansion of Bank's scope in development of the private sector, development of the financial sector, participation of the BSTDB in implementation of the regional projects, and provision of microfinancing services.

The BSTDB was also offered to take part in financing of large projects at the meeting. Proposals advanced during discussions will be taken into account in preparation of the country strategy on Azerbaijan.

Development prospects of mutual cooperation were also discussed at the meeting.
