According to the report, 99.77% of the construction works on the pipeline's Turkish section have been finished by 1 February 2006, Trend reports, citing the Turkish media.
It should be noted, the Azerbaijan oil crossed the Georgian-Turkish border on 17 November 2005 and one day later it reached the first pumping station 108 km to the state border.
Along with this, the reports say, construction works on the third pumping station are still going on.
The 2,5 km oil terminal in the port of Ceyhan is also ready for operation. The terminal is designed for loading of 2 tankers simultaneously.
It should be noted, 8 pumping stations, 3 purification and 100 filling stations operate along the entire pipeline.
