Volume of capital invested in building sector increased 12,7% last year

As APA informs, volume of investments spent for building-installation works increased 20,4% in 2005. Foreign capital comprised 67,2% of the investments directed to the main capital.

4,9 milliard AZN or means 11,9% more than the previous year were utilized for continuing construction of establishments of production purpose.

Volume of the capital directed to building works in the non-oil sector 38,2% exceeded the level of the previous year.

New residential apartments having 1380,8 thousand square metres of area, schools providing general education intended for 30 thousand 233 pupils, hospitals having 60 beds, ambulatory-policlinic establishments receiving 63 persons in shift, infant schools intended for 53 children were built at the expense of all financial sources in the financial year.
