The oil from BTC pipeline will reach Ceyhan without delays

“The BTC Co Company did not change the schedule on shipment of the first Azeri oil tanker from the Turkish Ceyhan port”, he said.

Aliyev made this statement reacting on the statement of the president of BP-Azerbaijan Company David Woodward who announced yesterday that due to construction difficulties the first oil from BTC will arrive in Ceyhan not earlier than the first quarter of the year 2006.

“We will try to ship the first tanker from the Ceyhan port in late December 2005,” underlined the BTC official.
