20% growth in Gross Domestic Product is predicted to be this year, 38% in 2006.The growth is expected to be 6 times higher in 2024 than it is today.
Director of Monetary Policy Department of National Bank Khagani Abdulayev told the journalists about it.

He said that, the wage increased 4.5 times, nominal incomes and expenses of population 1.4 times ,average monthly wage increased 1.5 times during the past two years: “The goods and service expenses of population increased 1.3 times, the share of wage expenses in prime cost 0.5 % , growth in money supply increased 28% in 2003 and 32% in 2004.

Growth tempo of GDP in non-oil sector was 8% lower in 2005 in comparison with last year ”.K.Abdullayev said the import of cereals reduced 28% and import of butter 35% in 2004.These factors were due to rice in the prices of consuming goods imported by the country as the result of  increase in inflation in some partner countries.
