Minister of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov proposes to establish strong department attached to Justice Ministry in order to solve the economical relations of Azerbaijan with other states and protecting the right of out country.
The Ministers stated that Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies lacks legal potential to address the international courts: “The Ministry addresses 3 international courts at the moment. We are working with the most well-known juridical companies of the world in order to win the court processes. I would like either the Justice Ministry or Foreign Ministry takes this responsibility”. According to Ali Abbasov, the Ministry’s share in the value of 1.5 million dollars in the Bermuda islands has been imprisoned.

Besides, the court process with “Finbank” of the Netherlands which has problems with Azerbaijan has not ended yet: “This Company does not present proper documents to the courts. According to the information we received yesterday, the court process had to be on this case in Paris. We suggested postponing this court as this court is not expected to have positive results for us and decision was made on this. The claiming side has presented new materials recently. Other documents with the signature of the Communication Ministry were among these materials.

However, as the result of the initial review, it turned out that, the notary called Akhundov who affirmed the signatures didn’t work there at all”.

According to the Minister, Azerbaijan has problem with “Deybi Telecom” bankrupted company of Korea:” This Company established electron telephone net in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. There are some misunderstandings there. Therefore, talks are held with the company at the moment”.
