Azerbaijan heralds tender for second satellite

"Azercosmos" Open Joint Stock Company has announced a tender to launch the second telecommunications satellite “Azerspace-2”.

The tender will regulate a number of issues including sharing the orbital position of the satellite, designing and operating the satellite in orbit and other cooperation, commercialization of volumes of satellites, a tender for the procurement of consulting services.

The period of tender announcement is 60 days, while service period is until the end of 2014. All bids must be submitted to JSC "Azerkomos" up to 06:00 p.m on August 28.
