New charter broadens Baku Metro's structure and power

Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has approved the charter and structure of the Baku Metro Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC).

Under an order of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Baku Metro CJSC will merge the Baku Metro and Azertunelmetrotikinti Joint Stock Company (JSC), which deals with the construction of metro stations and tunnels.

All rights and obligations of the Baku Metro and the Azertunelmetrotikinti JSC, as well as their properties and property rights of legal entities established by them will be handed over to the Baku Metro CJSC.

Baku Metro and Azertunelmetrotikinti JSC will also lose their legal entity statuses starting from the day of state registration of the Baku Metro CJSC.
