The 2nd International Tourism Film Festival will be held at Nizami Cinema Centre in Baku from June 25-29.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, this year festival features 68 films.
The jury will define three films in each category that be will rewarded. The festival aims to help tourism films find a broader international audience. The festival also aims to draw attention to the tourism potential of Azerbaijan as one of the international centers with rich historical and cultural heritage.
The festival features several categories, including Country, Region, City, Culture & Tradition, Extreme Tourism, Ecotourism, TV Reports, Commercials, National Award.
In addition to competitive and non-competitive program the festival includes workshops and discussions among filmmakers, experts in tourism and the media. The official languages of the festival are Azerbaijani and English.
The festival is a member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) based in Vienna, Austria.
