Azerbaijan, Brazil to sign agreement on customs cooperation

Azerbaijan and Brazil will sign an intergovernmental agreement on customs cooperation, head of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev said at a meeting with director of the revenue department of the Brazilian Customs Service Ernani Filho in Baku on May 19.

"Brazil is one of the main partners of Azerbaijan in Latin America," he added.

"One of the areas of customs cooperation is to facilitate the foreign trade," Aliyev added. "The meetings with Azerbaijani officials as part of the Brazilian delegation's visit play an important role in expanding cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of foreign trade."
