SOCAR Petroleum S.A. receives four international ISO certificates

SOCAR Petroleum S.A, a part of the international group of SOCAR, has been awarded the coveted ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certificates from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), aimed at optimizing customer satisfaction and service quality and reliability.

According to SOCAR, the company earned certificates in both the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System. In addition, the team received ISO 22000:2005 Certification for Food Safety Management Systems and certification for the ISO 18001:2008 OHSAS Health and Safety Management System. The award works in conjunction with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates to aid facilitation in the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems.

The ISO certification is an international standard that defines good management practices and aims at providing a global standard that spells out quality and trust.

The ISO is the world`s largest developer and publisher of International Standards and its stringent criteria are recognized worldwide. Its ISO 9001 requirements are among the strictest of the approximately 13,000 standards established by the organization and serve as a model for quality assurance in all facets of business, including design, development, production, installation and servicing with no exclusions.
