Azerbaijan produced 3.6 million tons of oil and gas condensate in January, compared to 3.8 million tons in the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee website reported on Feb. 17.
Azerbaijan produced 43.1 million tons of oil and gas condensate in 2013, compared to 42.98 million tons in 2012.
The bulk of oil in the past year fell to the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil and gas field block and Shah Deniz gas condensate field developed jointly with foreign partners.
Gas production in the country amounted to 1.6 billion cubic meters in January compared to 1.54 billion cubic meters in the same period of 2013, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Azerbaijan produced 17.9 billion cubic meters of marketable gas in 2013, compared to 17.24 billion cubic meters in 2012.
