Azerbaijani oil and gas production ups in 2013

Some 43.1 million tons of oil and gas condensate were extracted in Azerbaijan in 2013 compared to 42.98 million tons in 2012, the State Statistics Committee said on Friday.

The bulk of oil production volume fell to the block of oil and gas fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz gas condensate field, developed jointly with foreign partners.

Gas production amounted to 17.9 billion cubic meters of tank gas in 2013 compared to 17.24 billion cubic meters in 2012.
