Azerbaijani businessmen invited to Pakistan

Pakistan Stone Development Company specializing in the manufacturing of products made of granite, marble and other types of stone, has announced an open tender for the sale of their own products, a message posted on the website of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) on Nov.29 said.

"Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have been invited to participate in a tender that will be held with support of Pakistan's Ministry of Industry and Production," the message said.

Additional information about participation in the tender is available at Pakistan's embassy in Azerbaijan.

According to State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Pakistan amounted to $976,340 in Jan.-Oct., 2013. The major part of this volume ($948,080) fell to the import of Pakistani products to Azerbaijan. Around $28,260 worth of products was exported from Azerbaijan to Pakistan during the reported period.
