Benefits may be granted to stimulate non-cash payments in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani government may provide benefits and preferences to promote non-cash settlement payments in the country in future, the director of the main department for Tax Policy and Strategic Research of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes, Akif Musayev indicated this at a workshop on 'Growth in non-cash payments and expanded use of POS-terminals' today.

"The ministry will continue conducting monitoring to reveal new areas where tax remissions will be required," he said. "The area of non-cash payments may be one such."
