Azerbaijan’s reserve funds reach 1 bn manat

The amendments to the Azerbaijan’s Law on State Budget 2012 suggest a drastic expansion of reserve funds.

Under the law, the reserve funds were increased from AZN 800 million up to AZN 1 billion. At that, the reserve fund of the State Budget itself was raised from AZN 500 million up to AZN 700 million.

In accordance with the Law, State Budget revenues for 2012 were increased up to AZN 17.038 billion and expenditures up to AZN 17.67 billion. As a result, State Budget deficit is now projected at level of AZN 634 million.
