Interpol can assist CIS countries to fight monopoly

CIS Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy intends to attract Interpol to struggle against law violators in anti-monopoly sphere, said the chairman and co-chairman of CIS Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy, head of Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service Igor Artemev.

According to him, CIS countries act in this sphere jointly, as well Azerbaijan struggles against crime in protection of competition.

“Generally, CIS countries’ problem in this sphere is being of former USSR economy in monopoly and we have to struggle against this direction more than other countries. So, we have to win corruption mechanisms and make modern anti-monopoly legislation”.
