Japanese companies are interested in financing any pipeline projects in the Caspian region, head of Moscow representative office (for Russia and all CIS countries) of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation Hiroshi Iwao said.
"The Japan Bank for International Cooperation attaches great importance to increasing the capacity of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium," Iwao said at the second International Oil and Gas Conference 'Development of the Caspian Sea shelf', organised in Astana with the support of the KAZENERGY Association. "If the Japanese companies participate in it, then, of course, they will get bank support."
He recalled that there are a number of projects with the participation of Japanese companies are already financed by them in the Caspian Sea.
