Some 23,000 jobs to be opened in Azerbaijan

According to Rashid Javanshir President of BP-Azerbaijan who attends 19th International Caspian Oil and Gas Conference, 23 thousand new jobs will be opened as part of the “Sahdeniz” stage 2 development.

The second stage of Azerbaijani Shah Deniz gas field development is the largest project of BP in the world. 45 billion dollars will be invested to this project and 16 billion cubic meters of gas will be exported to the European markets.

In general, Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields have large gas potential, and it is necessary to meet for Europe's growing energy needs.
