Azerbaijan, Jordan to cooperate in ICT

A delegation of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Information and Communications Technology visited Amman, Jordan.  The delegation took part at the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Jordan Working Groups on communications.

During the meeting, the sides have reached agreements on large cooperation between the Azerbaijan Ministry of Information and Communications Technology and relevant ministry of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in ICT sector, including exchange of experience, high technology, nano-technology, postal data and digital broadcasting. The delegations, as reported, will take part at the forthcoming ICT forum in Amman and the BakuTel-2012 conference and exhibition in Baku.

Azerbaijan`s delegation has also met with Professor Issa Batarseh, president of the Princess Sumaya University for Technology and get acquainted with the material-technical base of the University. The delegation also visited some higher educational institutions of Jordan and discussed further cooperation among analogous institutes of the two countries.
