SOCAR defeats all in tender for seismic studies

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has won a tender for a three-dimensional geophysical study of the land area of Padar and adjoining promising structures covering an area of 220 square kilometres, the Department of Geology and Geophysics of the company told Trend on Friday. Research work has already begun.

The Kura Valley Development Company Ltd is the operator of the site. Russian RussNeft (80 per cent) and the affiliated company of SOCAR (20 per cent) have equity participation.
