Azerbaijan, Qatar sign memorandum

Azerbaijan and Qatar signed a memorandum of understanding that will open up additional opportunities for mutual cooperation between the state airlines of the countries, the Azerbaijani Civil Aviation Administration reported.

The memorandum was signed after the meeting of Qatar's and Azerbaijan's civil aviation delegations in Baku. The Azerbaijani side received several proposals on amending the agreement on air communication for further consideration. The meeting was held on the initiative of the Qatari side in Baku, as well as in connection with the plans of opening Baku-Doha regular flights.
