Azerbaijani winners of Baku 2015 to receive money reward

Azerbaijan, that is preparing a historic event in the history of the country and the European sport, expects to have the best results.

Baku 2015 European Games will give opportunities to over 6,000 athletes to compete for medals in 20 sports. Moreover, representative of 12 sports will be able to receive licenses to Rio 2016 Olympic Games. All these factors presuppose the hard-fought battle.

Azerbaijan has pinned great hopes on its 320 athletes, who will represent the country during the Games. And the reward will be not long in coming.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on establishing remuneration for the highest results of the national athletes and their trainers at the first European Games on June 9.

The order said the winners of the first places will receive 100,000 manats (over $95.300), and their personal trainers – 50,000 manats (over $47,600).

The second place winners of the Azerbaijani team will be granted with 50,000 manats (over $47,600), and the personal trainers – 25,000 manats (over $23,800).

Bronze medal winners will receive 30,000 manats (over $28,600), and 15,000 manats (over $14,300) will be grated to their personal trainers.

Senior national team trainers will once receive a prize in the amount given to a personal trainer of athlete, who showed the highest result.

In the team sports, members of the first team, senior trainer and assistant will also receive prize for the good performance.

Each member of the winner team will receive 30,000 manats (over $28,600), trainers – 15,000 manats (over $14,300).

Silver medals winning teams’ member will receive 20,000 manats (over $19,000), trainers – 10,000 manats (over $9,500).

The third place winning teams’ members will be granted with 10,000 manats (over $9,500), trainers – 5,000 manats (over $4,700).

Along with this money award, the victory in the historic Games will bring all the Azerbaijani athletes great honor and respect.
